One of the very unpleasant saleswomen didn't answer my questions. She brushed me off, saying that bread is like that and no other, even though I wanted the less-baked ones from the shelf. She told me no, that's how it is, in front of a customer who told us this outside, and in front of the police who stopped us and told us she had been very unpleasant. So we went to the other Marie Blachère near Grand Frais where we were welcomed warmly, and the saleswoman served us with a smile and gave us what we wanted.

Times have changed at this bakery. The bread leaves much to be desired, and the cashiers are unfriendly; they seem tired from the start of the day. This bakery has forgotten its roots.

Congratulations!!! I came at 6:30 am to buy a pizza and a pie. They opened on time with a smile, everything was ready, hot pizza and fresh pie! A big thank you to the people who work there! They deserve a bonus! The lovely saleswoman with a radiant smile made my day, which had started badly, much to my relief. Simply BRAVO!!

Passing through Firminy, I looked for a cafeteria in an industrial park, but there wasn't a single one, neither at the Intermarché nor the Leclerc. Luckily, there's this Marie Blachère. The staff is very welcoming, and the price is very reasonable. As for the reviews I read about this establishment, they perfectly reflect the current French mindset: demanding (it's not a traditional bakery or pastry shop, and the low prices reflect that) and never satisfied, always complaining.

I went today, May 5th, at 7:15 PM. Normally, there should be a 50% discount for the last 30 minutes. For 4 cookies and a sugar donut, I paid €11. Is that normal?

€4.80 for a tuna sandwich with four tiny slices of tomato, a wilted bit of lettuce, and the tuna is nowhere to be seen! It's a disgrace to sell that for €4.80! I don't recommend buying anything there.

For me, Marie Blachère de Chazeau is fantastic. The bread is excellent, as are the pastries. The welcome, and especially the smiles, are also 5-star. It's perfect, however, I no longer go to Firmi and Au Abattoir because it's not the same at all.

Hello, I went on Friday afternoon to buy two tarts for Saturday evening, as we were invited over. I got a raspberry tart and an apple tart. The apple tart was very good, but the raspberry tart was completely ruined, soggy, and not presentable at all. It was all soggy, really not good, I won't buy it again 😔
