Too long a wait. The meals are almost always cold. The portions are too small.

A very pleasant surprise. It's not gourmet, but for a group setting it's really great, balanced and varied.

You need to stop stuffing your breaded fish with cheese, I don't know who invented that but it's culinary blasphemy, my friend Leni is allergic to cheese and is offended.

Very good, but the meal was a bit repetitive.

In my humble opinion, this is a very good university restaurant. I ate there about once a week between September and April and was always satisfied. From October until my last visit (which wasn't exactly at the end of the academic year), they consistently offered pizzas (with varying toppings), in addition to pasta, vegetarian options (not vegan, but you can sometimes request a "protein-free" plate which will cost you three points instead of four), and other offerings from the staff. Among these, the desserts, which are often exquisite, should certainly not be overlooked. The staff members are also very friendly and welcoming; you can tell they love their job and enjoy chatting with the students they serve. The portions are very generous, which is probably a bad idea, but since I struggled to finish my meals at the beginning of the year, this restaurant has helped solidify my habit of skipping breakfast. But I'm perfectly fine with it (don't worry!) because I know that a few hours later I'll be able to enjoy a delicious meal, much better than anything I'd have at home (whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner), and in ample quantity, thanks to the CROUS (student services). Plus, I eat at a very affordable price, so it's very economical, and I hope you all get to benefit from the €1 meal program if it becomes more widespread—it's fantastic. There's sometimes a queue, especially during the winter, shortly after noon on days when the surrounding restaurants are packed, but it's always manageable. At 1 p.m. (I've often come here at this time), there are obviously far fewer choices, which is normal, but I've always been able to eat well, and at least there's no wait. So, I think that's all. As you've gathered, I'm convinced it's a really good CROUS restaurant that doesn't rip you off. You should be able to go there without hesitation. At least try it if you have any doubts. I noticed this year that many of my classmates refused—almost on principle—to eat there, and I think that's a shame. I won't have classes here next year, so I won't have many opportunities to eat here, and I admit that this idea saddens me a little. If I've just spent over an hour writing this review, it's really because I enjoyed this cafeteria. I've attached a few photos of the meal trays, each costing me six points (the maximum for the regular price), taken throughout the year. You can see some similarities between the dishes offered (and especially between the ones I chose). And of course, enjoy your meal!

No more dessert at 1 p.m. in 2023, whereas we had 3 or 4 dessert choices in 2021... A lamentable evolution.

Old buildings and long waiting times.

Thanks to our magnificent Crous Métare, I've been able to discover flavors from around the world. The staff welcomes us in a space worthy of the grandest hotels. Every day, as mealtime approaches, I'm filled with excitement at the thought of eating in this temple of gastronomy.
