NOTA BENE, Place Jean Jaurès, Saint Etienne

Nota Bene has changed a lot. Before, it was beautifully presented plates with fresh ingredients and friendly servers. Now it's plates with small portions and canned vegetables, servers openly criticizing customers in front of other customers... So that was our last time at Nota Bene, what a shame!

So, I've been a customer for years and I go there regularly. The last time I went, which was last Sunday, we asked for more bread and they brought us stale bread. Thanks a lot, noting this disappointment. Sorry if four extra pieces of bread is too much for you.

Lunch with friends at this restaurant located on Place Jean Jaurès. Lovely terrace. The welcome, the staff, and the service were all perfect. The cocktail (Dream Exotic) was refreshing and delicious. The portion was generous (for me), the meat was excellent, served with fries, salad, and a zucchini flan. We had a lovely time. I recommend it.

Excellent food at very reasonable prices, but above all, the servers are very friendly, welcoming, and efficient, making the meal even more enjoyable.

The daily special, consisting of a minced steak with tomato sauce and melted mozzarella, along with mixed vegetables, fries, salad, and leeks vinaigrette, was good. The service was pleasant, and the restaurant is accessible to people with disabilities.

Very pleasantly surprised: excellent food, friendly staff, unbeatable price. On a beautiful sunny day, it's the best.

The welcome was very cold, unlike the drinks… The cocktail was disappointing, served lukewarm! The mojitos were watery; I don't recommend them.

It was great! I went there for a drink with my girlfriend since it was hot, and we really enjoyed our time. The service was quick and the staff were very attentive. ✨
