The place is pleasant and the food is good, but taking orders at the counter is a disaster. The waitress, who is older, lacks politeness and attentiveness, and this isn't the first time. Once, we ordered just drinks, and she asked us which sauce we wanted. We told her several times no, we only wanted drinks, and she refused our payment method in a very unpleasant tone. And today, the same thing happened again. This time we ordered drinks and a snack, and we told her in good French what we wanted, and she made up requests we never asked for. It's a shame, but after these two bad experiences, we're not really keen to come back.

I'm really impressed by this restaurant! The atmosphere is very warm, the welcome is very friendly, and the staff is very helpful. The value for money is also very reasonable; I think it's an excellent place to eat in Saint-Étienne!

A lovely lunch during the week. Generous portions, quick service, and friendly, smiling staff! We didn't have much time and asked to take our desserts to go. They prepared little boxes for us to take away. Thank you! We'll be back!
